It’s so important for the photographer and the couple to have a test run together. An engagement shoot is perfect for this, because it really breaks the ice and at the end of the shoot the couple knows what to expect from the photographer, and the photographer gets a sense of how the couple is in front of the camera.
We picked Rye Playland because it was picturesque and big, so that we could actually walk around and try different settings and poses. Half way through our shoot Una and John became very comfortable with me and I got a sense of what camera angles they looked best in. The proof is above in these photos.
I’m really looking forward to shooting Una and John’s wedding at Mansion on Broadway. I had such a great time photographing them.
